First and last time flying this airline. Seats don’t lean back, there are no charging ports, no screens and seats are very uncomfortable. But that is not why I’ll never fly this airline again:We were on flight 2322 from New York to LA, taking off 3 hours behind schedule: They told us there was bad weather when we approached LA, but this was definitely not true. (Winds 3-4 miles per hour, 13 max, all other flights were landing, including the other Spirit flight that was not delayed and took off from Newark a few minutes after ours). They diverted us to Las Vegas and waited another 2 hours before telling passengers what would happen next. They were waiting for an entirely new flight crew, which would take another 2 hours to find. The pilot and flight attendants went home. No compensation, no meal tickets, nothing. The full flight of passengers are now waiting for a new departure, tentatively scheduled for 12:30AM the next day. The flight attendants seemed flustered and frustrated, having to deal with unhappy passengers on their own because the pilot and airline would not tell us the truth- we still don’t know what really happened. The ground crew is wholly unprepared and downright unfriendly and unprofessional, talking to passengers as if they are children that need to be scolded. No passenger behaved out of line and all passengers were rightfully upset with the incredibly poor treatment by the airline, mainly lying to us and sticking with the story, even though it was clear to everyone the flight attendants and staff were uncomfortable with the obvious lie. Some passengers with small children decided to get together to get in on a van together because it is more reliable than the airline. We are no waiting and hoping the flight will fly at 12:30am in the morning Vegas time, 3:30am New York time. Babies are crying, a flight that was supposed to be 6 hours is turning into minimum 15 hours - if they actually find a middle of the night crew at the last minute. That is best possible outcome at this point but we - the passengers - are all in agreement that this is and has been a horrible experienceUpdate: the airline issued a $50 voucher, expiring in 2 months that can be used towards another flight. A very hollow gesture. The crew did arrive and the flight is scheduled to finally fly from Vegas, 12 hours after the original departure time in New York - shame on you Spirit.Update 2: our 2nd flight from Las Vegas to LA was also diverted to San Diego this time, becaus of fog. Again, other flight are landing at LAX, perhaps because the pilot is inexperienced they found him at the last minute, close to midnight on a Sunday. We are now 15 hours into this flight from New York and they are keeping us on the runway. We just want to get out - people are getting angry. We want out! We want our money back. It is unconscionable how Spirit treats customers
