Spirit review On June 7th, 2023, I flew to Oakland from DFW with Spirit Airlines. The male steward, Jonathan, was rude and had a pompous attitude. Every time anyone stood up to use the restroom, he would inform them that the seat belt sign is still on and going to the lavatory was done “at their own risk”. So when I finally needed to use the lavatory, he told me the same thing and because I was in the front seat, and had heard him tell every other person that same line, I didn’t reply to him. He then made a snarky sarcastic comment, “good talk!” Sorry, but did he expect me to negotiate this issue with him? Grab a cuppa, stand in the aisle, and talk over the fact that I needed to use the toilet? I was shocked to see him rolling his eyes at certain passengers, especially at a young lady with a service dog. On the return flight, I noticed more unprofessional conduct by your staff. Shaking heads, rolling eyes, and looks of disbelief at passengers! Don’t be rude, Spirit. Your reputation doesn’t allow you to afford it. It’s already in the gutter with popular memes like “if you fly Spirit, you might become one.” Without us passengers, you would be out of a job. Respect everyone and be sincere. You’re paid to do a job. Do it and do it with dignity. Otherwise, you’ll be out of business due to poor service and bad taste. Do better.
