A bad experience

Placed order on line for groceries 10/07/23 for delivery between 5 and 6 PM on 11/07/23 . Order did not arrive and contacted customer services at 6.30 PM. They contacted the store that was delivering the order who advised that they had had difficulty in processing my payment and by the time they had sorted it out the delivery driver had left the store. The problem was at the store not at my bank. They said could go and collect the order if i wished which i declined as the store is some distance away. I asked that they cancel the order and refund me which they said they would do. No offer of an apology from the store who could have rang and explained what was happening or any goodwill payment offered via customer service. A very poor experience.
