HORRIBLE -- Paid Double for same dates due to bed bugs and still no refund

I meant to stay in Airbnb for 21 nights and during this stay, I encounter bed bugs issues. After initial few days, when I asked host about it, they did some steaming and said everything is right. I covered my feet and arms with socks while sleeping and unfortunately, was severely bitten over face, being very painful, irritating, and have to take medications. Which I took pictures. I told host I cant stay here anymore and left it.I even informed airbnb and they asked me they will reply me. They changed like 5 agents and every agents keep asking same questions. When I reply, the agent got changed (horrible customer service). I booked another room with airbnb (which was more expensive than the initial one) for rest of the nights (7 nights). Now, airbnb said, the pictures you sent us are not looking like bedbug bitten and asked for medical report or/and bed bugs stains. I dont have bed bugs pictures as I could not find them. My gp is in scotland and I have to make temporary documentation with local gp in England which was time consuming given I have to go for work. I discussed with my brother, who is a doctor in nhs and took some medication and the irritation and bites were healed in 2-3 days. Airbnb now refused to refund and the host also said, we are unable to find bed bugs. I mean, I bear so much mental pain and have pictures, which i can send over. Now I ended up paying twice for same dates, got more metal stress, which disturbed my routine, and moreover, the airbnb agents were not helpful. THEY ARE SCAMMER, WITH WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, SO BETTER BOOK SOME HOTEL AND HAVE PIECE OF MIND!-Dr Mustansar.
