This is a zero star review for delivery and for customer service. Food ordered was cold and did not come out of an insulated bag. Deliveroo told me to take it up with restaurant but the food itself was ok it was the temperature and their transportation of the food! £4.99 offered as compensation by really dreadful customer representatives Mary Louise and Jonathan. Deleted the app now and will never use again! Will also be spreading the word to family and friends how awful this company is!
Absolutely horrible service. As a rider cannot get any help from the bots and systems that give u scripted messages. Been trying to update my new insurance for 3 days now and its the same scripted messages saying invalid when all the other plattforms have accpted without any issues. I wish there was a way to not rate them at all because they clearly don’t deserve the 1star rating and their customer service is really horrible. Very rude and unprofessional
Their customer services are the worst. They are very slow to resolve things (24 to 48 hours). And they don’t answer questions directly they just tell you wait for an email. And make one mistake after another.
Three times i haven't received all the items from my order, and deliveroo didn't want to refund me. They said send us a picture of what you recieved, and i did, and they told me no. Horrible experience. Just hope you get all you order, otherwise you pay for all the missing items as well.
Ordered food via KFC app. Food did not come but was told it was delivered by Deliveroo. Don't have time to write an essay on the matter. But deliveroo customer service have been trained very well in the arts of going round in circles.
I’ve been ordering from Deliveroo for some of my groceries since during lockdown. Today 2 of my more expensive items were missing, I believe the driver stole them because I doubt Morrisons would have made such an error after refunding me for an unavailable item. Such an inconvenience have to wait for a refund to replace items.
Ordered food but the pin dropped in the map elsewhere. Rang restaurant twice and told them to deliver to my address. They agreed and told driver. Driver went to wrong address and someone turned up here with someone elses order. Have to wait up to 5 days for a refund and we have no food after waiting an hour for delivery. Would never use again. Absolutely useless.
Had 2 poor experiences eventually stopped using the app. Both in Liverpool. Each time the rider was rude and full of attitude about bringing my food to me rather than expecting me to come outside the building. I'm quite unhappy I have to pay for delivery that doesn't actually get delivered to me
I'm having to resort to Deliveroo for emergency grocery orders due to lack of better options (Ubereats are even worse). Horrendous. There is always something missing/unavailable from the order, often half of the items, or drivers refuse to deliver, cancel the order because they 'can't find me'. I live in the city centre, pretty easy to get to. They take payment, process a refund for the missing items, hold your money for a week, and act like it's normal practice. Should not be in business, but pushed a smaller competitor out of my area who were actually much better. Disgusting. A complete sh..show.
They subscribed me to deliveroo plus without my consent and deducted money from my account without letting me know. I asked for a refund as you advertised your products stating if you buy from a food vendor for more than 10 pounds, you get a free delivery. These are all lies as it is not free and they later subscribe you to a plan. Scams!! be careful when using deliveroo..
If I could give 0 I would.Ordered items, the driver picked them up over an hour before they arrived at my house. They were stone cold when they arrived. To make things worse they had missed off items I had paid for. When speaking to customer service they were about as useful as a chocolate teapot. They have no resolution or refund and they could not even explain why I wouldn’t be refund! Absolutely shocking customer service
