I'm happy with the purchase I made. Shipment was a bit slow but delivery was top notch. I just don't understand why Newegg has so many negative reviews here.
Newegg repeatedly sends me the complete wrong product almost everytime i order something. Order a simple cable and its like they just pick any cable they have and send it to me. Then i have to return it and try again, 3-4 months of back and forth shipping. Why not just send the correct product?
We ordered a CPU which came with a FREE C/D and when we went to check out and paid +/- $1500.00, it said 3 business days to be delivered. They stated that since it was two orders?, no where on the order site did it say 2 orders. Now its been 10 days. Also, we get an e-mail 3 days later stating they are out of the item (CPU) we ordered, and wanted to know if we would take another CPU that is the same. Why not tell people before submitting the order YOU ARE OUT OF STOCK. Why not call them. So 2 days for the e-mail, 1 day for my response, then 2 days for another e-mail saying OK. This all could be taken care of with a phone call and done in 1 day. Also, when I called Customer Support, they interrupt you in the middle of an explanation and/or will not listen to you.
Bought a subscription for Photoshop & Lightroom based on the description, ad copy, & a Newegg-promoted review on the Newegg site. Received a subscription for Lightroom ONLY. It was not even hinted at anywhere on the page that Photoshop was not included. Contacted Newegg asking to return the unused subscription, & their only response was to say they emailed me a key -- basically get lost, but nothing about how that key was only for Lightroom.-----Update: Newegg sent an email 6/15/23 & refunded the full amount.
