From the flimsy construction to the lackluster performance, it became evident that I had been misled by clever marketing tactics. It is disheartening to realize that such an expensive purchase turned out to be a complete waste of money. I strongly advise against investing in this product as it falls far short of justifying its steep price tag.
I do not recommend buying on this Klarel.com website, overpriced and bad customer service.
I purchased a Mid Century Jeanneret Kangaroo Sofa Klarel that was delivered approximately 2 months ago. One day we heard a loud crack after sitting down, we inspected the rattan seat and didn't find anything a few weeks later after careful inspection we found a large crack in the front Spindle. The seat is now essentially useless. I contacted F&S and was told that they wouldn't replace or provide a refund. I would not recommend this furniture or business. I paid over $2,000 for a pice of furniture and expect the quality to be much better. I feel duped.

First off, I typically refrain from writing negative reviews, but I think all potential buyers should learn from my experience. As many stated, I placed my order for a Pierre Jeanneret chair. Their site indicated this is available for immediate delivery, but it took about 3 months to receive. Fast forward 5-6 months of use, the chair is now falling apart. Yes, the wooden bars which are used as handles are coming apart. Not a few years but a few months.
Update to company response: you say you gave me the option to cancel?? FALSE. my card has been charged. I have called numerous times to cancel and ask for a refund. And your customer service representatives keep telling me they have to wait for the manufacturer to cancel. You guys have not refunded me!!! That’s a lie! Please refund me.
Placed an order with them and days later they come back and tell me I must spend more to reach their minimum order requirement. Funny they didn't mention that at time of purchase, but I bucked up and spent more. It was uncool though. Later, they could not fulfill the order due to discontinued fabric, and they try and charge a cancellation fee on an order THEY could not fulfill. They are THE WORST business I have ever dealt with!
I placed an order with these folks for a fairly expensive peice of furniture. After several weeks they emailed me stating that they would not fulfill the order unless I spend more money (chairs where $2000). I declined and they decided to cancel my order. They said to expect my refund it 14 days. After 14 days the refund was not processed. I contacted them and they stated it was processed (I confirmed with credit card company that this was not true). Another 14 days went by and still no refund. I contacted them again and they said they would look into it. After another week still no refund. I finally issued a chargeback for fraud and the credit card sided with me and refunded my purchase. These folks tried to wait me out and see if they could steal my money. They are criminals and thrives. Do not give them money. The whole operation is a scam to get you to spend money the not refund after a extended wait. I don't think they actually ship product, it's just a predatory front page preying on online shoppers avoid at all cost.
This is the worst online experience I ever had. I made a purchase of two chairs from Klarel, the chairs were sent after 4 months in separate shipments, and so far, I have received one damaged box. Contacting their support is completely useless…
Klarel is a superficial brand as a whole, always late on their orders and most of all on the refunds
