Ordered a $15 part for my shower. Shipping cost another $5. Part arrived but did not fit. Wayfair won't refund shipping and wants to change $7 for return shipping for a part that weighs less than 1oz. Ridiculous.Update: issue was not resolved. wayfair simply confirmed what I wrote above, that they expect me to absorb the full cost of shipping both ways for the return. A bad policy that will discourage me from ever ordering from them again.
Terrible customer returns. No 30 day price match. Every time I buy something, they bo.bard me w ads showing the same item at half the price I paid. So today I called and asked for a price adjustment—no can do, though I've gotten them before. And I can't return these without paying $15 shipping, though they're in an envelope I haven't opened yet. DO NOT BUY FROM WAYFAIR!
Do not purchase anything large from this company. I ordered a six drawer dresser and it came in with incorrect screw holes that made three of the drawers stick out and not close I called customer service and was told I can get a replacement but I have to return the damaged one. This had already been put together and I have no truck to transport it to FedEx the lady was very rude she said there was no option available to not return this or got it to be picked up. She told me to take it all apart and carry all the pieces to FedEx and they would box it. That is a good thing because I can’t even pick up the box by myself. Then the email comes in With the return label and it says I have to package the return so in other words go x!*^ yourself we are not going to work with you at all. I have never been treated so badly like I want to keep a broken dresser anyway
Wish I had seen their reviews! Ordered a dinnerware set on 6-6-23 and looked later at the order and seen a delivery date of 6-29-2023 which was perfect for our family dinner on July 4th. Never showed so I called and was told it wasn't even shipped yet so I cancelled the order. Then got an email on 7-3 that they won't process my cancel order because "Has Been Shipped, Preparing to Ship, It's Custom Made". Surprised it didn't say they had to dig the mud from the ground to create the dinnerware set. Obvious they want me to return it and pay the ridiculous return shipping for them lying about the original delivery date. Stay away from this on-line rip-off and stay with Amazon. I Will!!!!!!!!!
No matter what you search for online, Wayfair will appear amongst the returns. You can search on "bag of garbage", and the Wayfair link will take you to one of their webpages displaying patio furniture. This is a company with zero integrity which thinks it is the king of the internet, offering everything anyone could ever want, which is empirically false.
Absolutely awful company with fraudulent business practices. They allow you to order things (and expect delivery on those things) without actually having them in stock. Twice this company randomly cancelled my orders (saying it was at my request) they couldn't fulfill. One of the items I ordered they cancelled because they say the price was wrong on their website. They said they would only fulfill the order at a higher price (higher by hundreds of dollars!). Then on another occasion they cancelled my order after their customer support team assured me the item was on its way. This company lies, cheats, and pretends to be customer service oriented. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR. IT WILL EITHER ARRIVE DAMAGED/BROKEN OR IT WON'T ARRIVE AT ALL.
They sent me the product I ordered, but the product is a completely different color than what is listed on their website. According to their customer service, unless the product is damaged or defective, the customer is responsible for the return shipping. It’s 1/3 the cost of the product itself. I’ll never shop with this company again.
Wayfair has the worst shipping department. We ordered this hot tub in the beginning of May and have been in contact with Wayfair about delivery. They stated that the item would be delivered at the end of June. It is not July. I reached out to them regarding the issue again and now they are saying the item got lost in transit and they are cancelling the order. This is very unprofessional. Number one they didn’t let me know that there was an issue to begin with. I’m the one who had to reach out to them for this information. So they just canceled my order and didn’t relay the message to me. Number two there was no type of apology it was just a “it happens” response. We have been waiting on this hot tub for 2 months. I don’t understand how you lose a hot tub in transit. It’s a huge item. I will not be shopping with Wayfair again. This is ridiculous. Especially for a high cost item.
Absolutely deceptive, irresponsible, and awful “business”. Wayfair sent me the wrong tv stand to begin with, sent me a replacement, and I pushed to receive compensation for this mistake. Speaking to a chat rep they promised me to waive the assembly fee as a courtesy for a technician. Conveniently we disconnected and the thereafter rep told me that this is an action they cannot even do. Clearly showing me that the prior rep straight up lied to me. I wanted this escalated and the manager quite literally responded by saying the best we could is send you a 10% coupon off your next purchase which we have. For two mistakes…An actual joke. Don’t worry about it girl, you won’t be getting a second purchase. Seeing how horrible their customer service and business practices are, I hope to really see their demise. They don’t deserve a dime.
I haven't actually bought anything from Wayfair in quite awhile. Today I got a notice that there was a fraudulent purchase with my credit card that I hadn't actually made. The card company told me I had to contact Wayfair. When I called in, they had already flagged the transaction and canceled before I could ask and helped me get my password reset to get my account secured again. Honestly, the best customer service I could've asked for. What could have been a very difficult stressful situation was handled with ease.
Product was missing essential parts for the operation of the chair, missing power supply, remote control for massage and heat, missing safety brackets. Customer service said that the manufacturer will not ship just the parts, I would need to order a new chair, take the missing parts out and then return the chair. No way to treat a customer, I have filed a dispute with my cc company until wayfair sends someone to rebox the chair and send it back. I am disabled and cannot do this. I even paid someone to unbox and set up the chair but it was missing parts.
