A clean user interface and easy to use. However, it lacks custom fields and automations. We had to move on to other tools
Asana is the most powerful cross-collaborative work software in their category, I can't go back to work without Asana. It has made me and my team 60% more productive and focused.
Asana will lure you in with fair pricing for "1 seat" for a 30-day trial.Once you've got all your data in the system and invested a month getting through the learning curve, they force you to have "2 seats" if you want to continue. Essentially doubling the price without justification, other than, according to their support team - "our ultimate goal is to enable teams to work together."This is a very admirable goal, though it begs the question...Why is a 1-seat trial even an option? It appears to be blatantly deceptive marketing.Would you be personally happy to sign up for a trial, import all your data, go through the learning curve for a month, and then be told the price has been doubled if you want to continue?Obviously, you cannot answer truthfully here, though I suspect like most people, you don't appreciate misleading business practices.
While looking for a good app to organize my tasks and projects I realized Asana is a good way to go. But, I quickly realize after doing my sign up I have been automatically placed into trial mode. No previous communication about this, and I never actually wanted to try premium features + I am not sure what will I use or not so I want to stick with free for now. After I tried to disable the trial period I realized that is not possible. When trying to contact someone from the support they always redirect you to creating a ticket even if they do have a live chat option with agents. Such a shame.
we have recently switched from Trello to Asana and still figuring it out. Yet couple of things are really better and easier, like finding the comments and sharing the tasks. The visual part is more user friendly and intuitive. You don't feel like taking special classes just to start using a software. Thank you
I saw the add on FB and thought it's a great tool for planning. The site is pretty simple and has minimalistic yet pleasant design so I decided to try. I couldn't understand a thing, totally new system for me. Dropped after several attempts. I guess it is useful for specific professions or teams.
Two stars because we actually like their product but are looking at better options for us. I'm trying to fix a small billing issue that if they had a phone number would take a 10-15 min phone call. Instead, I am having to wait on their customer service ticket system which is taking DAYS. I'm at 4 business days and have not received any sort of reply. I'm trying to pay this bill and they are making it extremely difficult.Looking at other solutions with better customer service.
If I could give a 0 I would. While Asana is a pretty good project management platform, after we went through bankruptcy I tried to have several conversations with their team on how to best organize any future payments, and they don't respond in any way or try to help. After months of no answers, they simply shut down our account with no notice and will not reply to try and rectify the situation.I'm very disappointed and will be using another service provider instead.
As a solo freelancer, Asana's free version has been awesome! I can do 95% of what I want with the free version and in 3+ years of use have never had any complaints. Intuitive to use. Easy (and free) to bring on my clients to interact with the project. I've even started using it for managing personal projects and long term life goals. Highly recommended if you need a free project management solution!
The worst service ever.Kept dodging important billing and plan questions.Doesn't seem to care about customers AT ALL(no direct answers / kept changing reps and still no answers / very slow replies / they will sound like wanting to help, but actually won't give you any useful information).Very hard to find the cancellation are once upgraded to certain plan. Also, the billing seems very simple at first, but will become nightmare if you upgrade to a certain plan.Found out about that after 6 years of using Asana.Shocking.. and losing trust rapidly.Start having concern putting our data on their platform. And, no backup codes for 2FA...
Best project management software I've ever used. I have tried many types of project management software such as Trello, Kanbanflow, Monday, and Project.co, Ntask, Taskyphi ... but only when stopping at Asana, I am truly satisfied.
