I am so over ATT. I scheduled an appointment, made sure someone was home waiting, they never showed. I called after the appointment time just make sure someone was still coming and then they gave me an update..oops our bad can we reschedule. I rescheduled and guess what same thing and 3 hours later I am still halfway waiting. I have called the cust service line at least 3 times since the appointment time has passed and got the standard response. Finally spoke w a person who said they were a manager and guess what, same thing. It is definitely time for me to make a change but I hope this review helps out anyone who is considering ATT. They have gotten worse over the years and they want to sell themselves as the best and most reliable. Not all customers get the that part of your sale. There are those of us who actually need help with your service sometimes. Your payment has never been late but you offer mediocre service.
We had all of our data plan on our wireless account mysteriously used up within two days. We normally don't use it all in an entire month and did not do anything unusual to use extra data. So, I wanted to see if they could help me figure this out. First, I tried the chat feature. There were no options that fit my situation and I could not get a real person. It took a while, but I finally found the customer service phone number. I had to insist I wanted to talk to a real person. When I did get a real person, there was a lot of background noise and they were not helpful at all. They did not really listen to me. It was clear I was getting no where talking to them as they didn't really want to help solve my problem. They just kept saying we only had so much data for 3 lines so we just used it all and have we considered an unlimited plan. I gave up and out of curiosity asked how much more per month the unlimited plan was. She said she would check and then everything went silent - background noise gone, and she never came back on although we seemed to still be connected. I just hung up, tired of wasting my time.
Avoid AT&T at all cost, especially if you a business owner. Alot of your calls will not go through, only way I found out is my brother and lawyer tried to call and they had the sense to text me to let me know they tried to call, and at&t wants examples and when the lawyer called, they said they couldn't find any issues, exactly, it's because they can't fix the problem, SO DO NOT USE AT&T. Use any other service. Because you have a phone so that you can call and receive calls and AT&T does not provide that and their corporate office doesn't care. They will pretend to work on your case and then say they can't help you because they can't find the problem.
I have had AT&T for over 20 years and the billing is always a nightmare. I have had to call and FIX my bill each month. I should have changed back when... But I stayed, never late with a payment and always paid before the bill was due. Now I have to SIGN up for autopay or be charged $35 a month. I am retired with disabilities and have to watch my pennies. With AT&T Giant grabbing all they can get from seniors and retired. $420 a year for NOT USING autopay is absurd and the bill is never the same $10-$30 different every month. PLUS the withdrawal date can not be fixed. If I do not get my retirement check before they deduct the bill Im screwed. If I had Autopay I would never get my money back. No Thanks. Time to find a company that doesn't try and rape its customer base.
It is a good thing that AT&T provides me with good cellular service because I had a horrible experience with a representative when I was in an AT&T store to buy a new phone. I was snapped at and spoken rudely to by the service representative. I don’t know if there is no training being given to these service representatives, or whether this woman was having a horrendous day, but there is no reason why a service representative should snap at a customer.
Thieves! I'm ashamed for the poor people who have to work and lie to customers to sell subscriptions ... my case was simple, I had an iPhone 11 Max and I sold them for $ 800, sold I thought, big joke because in fact, they make you a plan where you buy a new phone and you deduct per month! But they don't tell you that! A few months later I phoned customer service and thought I'd found an honest person who lowered my rate! BUT AT WHAT PRICE, that of losing my first subscription plan and now paying for my new iPhone without the belly discount of my first iPhone !!!! THEFT! I contact them today and for not finding solutions they tell me we will open a case!!!! Either yes you were robbed but that's AT&T policy !!!! Humanity is gone, I'm depressed, I just have to take a lawyer and buy my phone and change for less worse if it exists !!! BE VIGILANT ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE AN IMMIGRANT, THERE PROFIT AND LIES ARE EVEN MORE AT THE RENDEZVOUS !!!!!!
We signed up with ATT about 3 or 4 months ago, and regretted it from the start. We have already canceled our service and switched to another phone carrier. At the time of signing up, we were told that each phone plan would be about $75 each a month for two people, and with the credit from trading in our old phones, we would be about $50 a month each. Get our first several bills, and already at about $200 a month. Reps couldn't explain why our bill was more than what we were promised, only could advise that the employee who signed us up had a habit of falsifying the plans in order to get customers to sign up. Paid off the phones that day to switch services that weekend, which turned into a nightmare in itself. Took over two hours arguing with the ATT rep that the transfer pin was not working on their end. The customer service rep had me request a new transfer pin 6 times because each one wasn't working. They claimed it was my new carrier we were switching to, however, both my carrier and myself were able to confirm the issue was on ATT's end. Advised the customer service rep she was effectively useless as her only response was to keep resetting the transfer pin.
Went into the store after having such a hard time unlocking my AT&T phone. Horrible customer service, rude and condescending. I will never return to AT &T. Battle Creek MI Beckley Rd store. Wish I could tell you the name of the employee but I did not get it.
Coverage sucks, customer service sucks. Called in to change my credit card because it won't let me do it online. They gave the option to have a call back in 5 minutes. When i got the call back they placed me on hold for another 10 minutes before i hung up!!
Very deceptive company. Offered me two rebates for signing up, followed the terms and after 2 years never received the rebates. Called customer service and they didn't know anything or offered no help. Then when I cancelled the service 2 months later sent me a credit card with what they owed me because they kept charging me after service stopped with a 3.00 monthly fee to use my own money. USE SOMEONE ELSE, they belong in court!
My bank acct changed and I called AT&T Prepaid with the new number. They did not use it and payment was denied. Now my account is blocked and I cannot make payment unless I go to AT&T store. I am 88, no car, live alone, disabled, and AT&T wants me to go trotting to a store to fix a problem they created. Have been trying for 4 hours to get help--and Nothing.
Great products (internet) but their customer service is non existent. I work from home and work nights. My internet went out and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone regardless of their ACTUAL website saying there was 24/7 support. My advice… when it comes to home internet go with a company that genuinely cares about their customers and provides solely internet and nothing else. AT&T ain’t it.
